Leading the digital marketing team and reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be building, owning and overseeing the overall digital marketing strategy, together with your internal team of digital marketing experts and with the support of our external performance marketing agency.

As the Online Marketing Senior Manager, you will play a mentorship role to key performance marketing team members, assisting in the daily execution of their function and ensuring that their professional skills are consistently growing. You are ready to take up duties of the Head of Marketing’s position in her absence.

Mission

This role’s mission is to introduce Guardrails to the market successfully by devising effective strategies and own all activities over paid and organic channels, including implementation and conversion KPIs

Accountabilities, Goals and Outcomes

  • Devise and implement a multi-channel conversion strategy utilizing various online channels, adjusting and optimizing as needed
  • Own conversion success metrics on all paid and organic channels, including: CAC/CPA, CLV, CR, CTR, ROI, site traffic: visit to conversion metrics, qualified leads, and engagement rates

Your Responsibilities

  • Build and implement a strong digital marketing strategy (including but not limited to: performance marketing, inbound marketing, demand generation, CRM, content and SEO plans)
  • Plan and set overall budget and track spend for each marketing channel, ensuring targets are met
  • Lead and manage the external performance marketing agency, overseeing Google and FB Ads budget and ensuring that user acquisition, buyer and user retention performance reaches the business plan objectives
  • Manage, train and lead the internal marketing team members
  • Work with BI team to build multi-channel attribution modelling
  • Work closely with the sales and product team to develop efficient processes and ensure marketing success
  • ​​Understand the (SEA) media environment and suggest digital strategy adjustment based on its evolution
  • Stay up to date with the latest tech and digital marketing best practices, research competition and benchmarks, provide suggestions for improvement
  • Measure and report ROI and KPIs, translate complex online marketing data into easily understandable insights for other relevant teams and senior management

You pretty much have the job if

  • You’ve held a senior role for at least 2 years in a digital marketing team for a tech startup
  • You’ve managed at least 2 direct reports
  • You have a good understanding of who our target customers are, how and where to target them and speak to them effectively
  • You have an understanding and familiar use of tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads/AdWords, Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush or WordStream, FB Ads Manager, FB Business Manager, Hubspot
  • You have experience in creating and implementing your own digital marketing strategies and owning budget and spend
